Pain therapy

For a long time it’s been little known that, besides cancers, benign disorders – often inflammatory or degenerative – can also be treated with radiotherapy. These include athlete’s foot, impingement syndrome and arthritis – but joint therapy and tumour pain therapy are also carried out at the DTZ in Berlin-Friedrichshain.

The radiation dose used in these treatments is considerably lower than the dose used for irradiating tumours. This means that these treatments are seldom associated with side effects, or only with minor ones.

Radiotherapy offers an excellent complement or alternative to conventional methods in the treatment of pain.

It’s often more effective, requires less time, and costs less. Thanks to our many years of experience, we can give you comprehensive advice, respond to your questions immediately, and suggest a targeted treatment plan.
