Thyroid gland

Possible clinical pathologies associated with the thyroid are diverse. They range from tissue modifications, which may have benign or malignant aspects, to inflammation of the tissue, and swellings (goitre). All these diseases have one common feature: they disturb the release of hormones that the thyroid regulates. This can lead to either hyper- or hypofunction of the thyroid, which drastically disturbs the patient’s well-being.

Thanks to our ultra-modern equipment at the DTZ in Berlin-Friedrichshain, we can offer the complete range of outpatient thyroid diagnosis and treatment – including imaging diagnostics, sonograph-based biopsies, needs-based medicinal therapy and provision of surgical or radioactive iodine treatment. All this is supported by our experienced team.

We’re happy to advise you on this, or on a targeted treatment plan. We can respond to your questions in detail in a face-to-face meeting.
